OK - who wins the game on Sept. 9th ?

So your'e saying Iowa is sitting just as good at QB as ISU is going into the year then? That's just idiotic. Maybe an Iowa QB will go on to having a better season than Park, who knows, but only an idiot would say the advantage at QB goes to Iowa going into the season.
We need a dillusional button added

Iowa fans always love to say they dominated us in that game looking only at the 14 pt win, but that's just them showing their stupidity. Any game that is tied with under 3 mins left is not being dominated by anyone.

Total Yards:

Iowa- 475
ISU- 310

Time of Possession:

Iowa- 33:22
ISU- 26:38

Rushing Yards:

Iowa- 260 (5.8 yards per carry)
ISU- 63 (2.3 yards per carry)

ISU gained 66 total yards in the 2nd half and is really lucky the margin of victory was only 14.

Probably a lot better than JUCO does to the Big 12.
What, the Big 10 doesn't take JUCO now? S***, the JUCO transition to P5 is probably better than the G5 to P5. A JUCO was most likely a P5-level player to start with.

I have a feeling playing against better players and better defenses might hurt Mr. Butler's stats some (as well as playing behind another RB).

We saw how he did against Purdue's stifling defense.

What JUCO are you talking about?

Butler tore up the Mountain West, while Warren tore up the Big 12 his freshman year. That's who we're comparing.

I'm assuming the JUCO you're talking about is Lang? Lang is 3rd or 4th on our depth chart, while the guy you're just bringing in fresh this year from the MWC is already 2nd on your depth chart.

How is the JUCO transition working out for Tongamoa?

His yardage total will go down because of the amount of snaps he is going to get sharing duties with Wadley.

His yards per carry will stay steady or go up since he will be running behind an elite OL.

How did Warren do his sophomore year?

I said in another thread I think Iowa wins because they'll just run the same stupid play over and over again and my gut is telling me it will be too early in the year for our D-Line to stop them. I really wish we played them at the end of the year this year.

You ever heard of a sophomore slump? Plus, Montgomery came in as a true freshman and played better than him and took snaps away.

Montgomery and Warren have both shown what they can do against P5 level competition, Butler has not.

I wish we played them at the end of the year every year

Not sure, he just got here. I am sure that you'll be seeing him on the 9th, though.
