Iowa's TE Kittle ran faster 40 than Lazard. Should move to TE

Since joining the B1G Nebraska has played tOSU 3 times and Iowa's played them once. Just like in the old Big 12 not all schedules are created equally folks. Conference realignment is the best though!

Nebby's First 6 years in the Big 10...31-18
Nebby's Last 6 years in the Big 12...29-20

Looks like they actually are dominating in the Big 10...no wonder they don't want to come back to the Big 12.

2 games better record wise and 2 less Conference championship appearances. Man life was easy in the Big12.

Why the hell are we talking about Nebraska in a Kittle/Lazard thread? I thought we could all agree f*** Nebraska. They left, I don't care about them anymore, you guys can have your "rivalry" (which is completely contrived), now let's all move on with our lives.

I didn't start the Nebraska talk.

It doesn't matter who started it, I'm just trying to end it.
It is ended, but the thread took this turn because of NU lack of building their defenses to play the big tough Big10, because they were use to the Big12 even though it has been 6 years since they played in that league....

And I think Lazard is faster than Kittle and will be a WR at the next level....

6 years is enough time to recruit to any conference if you have the staff to do it. How Nebraska does is totally up to them and has nothing to do with the B12 at this point. There's not a single player and likely not a single coach who was there when they were in the B12.

Granted, you're a little slow when it comes to football but when they first joined the league, they were lacking the type of player up front to compete week in and out because they were geared to play another style of ball. That's straight from the Nebraska newspapers.

Sure. And in their second year they won their division and got killed in the conference championship game. Same thing they had been doing in the B12 for years. As much you want to apply the transitive property to the conferences (and throw out insults) Nebraskas problems are their own. They had similar results in both conferences. And at this point there isn't a single connection to their B12 days. You can say Nebraska struggles in the B10, but they've been there 6 years. That's more than enough time to recruit the right people and adjust to the style of play. They had 9/10 wins in 4 of their last 5 years in the B12. And 9/10 wins in 4 of their first 5 years in the B10. Same old post-90s Nebraska.

Isn't it a little bit frustrating that he didn't have a more productive career at Iowa?

Dead serious question.

He was banged up at times but, yes, to answer your question.

The TE position disappeared under Davis. CJ Fed is still in the NFL and Krieger Coble spent some time with the Broncos and now Kittle is on his way to playing a lot as a rookie.

It is ridiculous with little the TE's were used in Davis' passing game.

He had a great career at Iowa. He came to Iowa at 200 lbs and had to build his body. His Jr season was a good year and he was a major contributor on a Rose Bowl team that won 12 games and finishes the season ranked in the top 10. He was banged up his Sr year so yeah that was disappointing.
