Iowa Football Recruiting

I'm an ISU fan not an NFL fan. I do still feel bad for Desmond though. Sucks KF cost him so much money telling him to come back, especially considering he seemed like a kid that would really appreciate it. He wasn't entitled like some other athletes...
How many 1st round NFL draft picks has KF developed and how many has ISU developed (all time)? I will hang-up and listen.

You must feel crushed for AL. Think how much choosing ISU will cost him. Ugh.

It could actually turn out ok. During his combine interviews it'd be pretty easy for him to make his case... if he'd gone to ND and dropped passes from an NFL-level QB it would look much worse than going to ISU and dropping passes from a middle linebacker.
Also, don't forget when Josey Jewell caught him from behind...and I believe Lazard had a good 10 yard head start on Jewell.

Saban would have been lucky to win 3 games last year with that roster. 9th > 14th. Like I said Rhoads worst class wasn't even ranked 14th in the conference and that class really hurt us.

This whole 9th in the Big 12 vs. 14th in the B1G is pretty surprising for you, almost beneath you. Almost. Iowa's 14th in the B1G class is ranked higher than ISU's 9th in the Big 12. I know it's gotta hurt, just surprising that you continue pushing that narrative when it's so obviously flawed. Plus we'll get a 4* DB in a few weeks, that'll be nice.

Riiiiiiiiiight! I'm sure in your world anything is possible. And like I said, there were actually more 2017 NFL draft picks in the Iowa vs Michigan game than the ENTIRE Big 12. That is a crazy stat, when you think about it. Talk about a dying conference.

Developing NFL Talent > Developing Big 12 Talent > Developing cyclone talent

ISU doesn't play in the Big Ten so I don't care. I'd much rather be 9th in my own conference than 14th.

Yeah, what a shame to only barely crack 2,400 yards with 16 TD's.

I guess he could have taken a similar route to ND's highest rated WR commit of that 2014 class.

Wasn't AL a top-10 WR recruit coming out of HS? And after his junior year in college his own coach said there was a good chance he wouldn't be drafted. That's not good.
