All Iowa Football Team

There are two Nelsons on the D line. I think meant Anthony Nelson who for my money is better than Matt.

He was responding to me and I had a Nelson at each DE spot on my team. They are listed as co-starters on the depth chart that was just released a copule weeks ago.

I agree though on Anthony, he could be primed for a big year.

I always find this humorous when a fan states this. Like coaches and players on any team don't emphasize every single game to win against any team they play??? Fans maybe place more importance on team versus another, but if you ever had coaches and players doing that then they need to be replaced.
Agreed, but I don't want Ferentz gone yet, I want to watch the train wreck of him having to fire his kid at OC unfold first.

It is fun, because the answers will be had in 32 days.

No, because if Iowa wins he will just say that its Iowa's Super Bowl and ISU had no shot. How we could all see how fired up the Iowa sideline was and how they were all flying to the ball like crazy.

Who cares. Win is a win no matter what they say. We know he really doesn't believe that. And if he does then he should want his coach and staff fired.

Never happen. Both would go out at same time if ever came to that.
Not Kirk's MO, fans call for heads, he blames OC and fires him to keep his job. Going to be one hell of a dilemma for the old cud chewer.

Never said he was on a list. Pretty sure. Just saying being on a watch list is nothing special.

He must not be very good if he can't even make a 60 person list then. Definitely don't think he belongs in this thread.

At least we can all agree Park is going to be a stud

Certainly the best QB ISU has had in recent memory.

He won't however, be a "stud" in the National sense.

He'll flirt with average completion percentage and have a few too many turnovers to be "elite" in any sense of the word.

Which is really probably irrelevant, as the in-state neighbors have shown you don't need an elite QB to win a lot of ball games

Park is going to be an absolute stud. Maxwell List talent.

Okay, then what about all the ISU players starting that are not on some list? If I recall correctly, Render played quite a bit of the game against ISU last year and held up quite well.

Actually, the answer for a question like this will be had in December. One game isn't the season.

How is that the case? We aren't playing the same teams but we do play head to head. And if ISU ends up say 5-7 or 6-6 and Iowa is say 8-4 is the ISU calculus that then ISU is really better even if Iowa wins the game in Ames this year? Just trying to get this mapped out in my head so I know the rules for the season going into it before it starts.

I strongly disagree that Render is one the five best OL. That's it. I don't think I put an ISU player over someone on a watch list did I?
