Historically, I agree. But this is changing and it starts this year. We will have similar records this season and we will beat you pretty easily in Ames.

Beating Iowa isn't going to change anything. Just like beating Iowa over the last 10 years hasn't changed anything. ISU is still the worse P5 program in football.

I'm just saying you will see our progress with culture when we beat you this fall. What is going to change is that we will win at least 6 games this year and you will begin to see the shift into a decent football program.

The problem for Iowa is, you aren't going to be respectable anymore. The game has passed KF by. It's a sinking ship over at EIU.
And also in 2006, 2007 and 2010.
Yes, and ISU had a 6 win season that year. Clone fans everywhere said The ISU football program had passed Iowa's program. That ISU was on the upswing and Iowa was in a tailspin and The game had pass Ferentz by (you said this a lot). Fast forward to 2013 and ISU win 3 gamess, and hasn't won more than 3 games since 2012.
Yep in a bad year Iowa still wins more games than isu has in any of the past four years.
Iowa returns to its norm of 7-10 wins per year and isu returns to its norm of 3-6 wins per year. It is why Iowa is isu's Super Bowl. isu will never be a better program so the best they can hope for is to win one out of every 3 or 4.
In the end all clone fans really have to crow about are SOS and selective time frames.
Yikes.
Or, you know, not losing to FCS teams on your own field. Or playing the North Texas' of the world. ISU isn't Iowa's problem.
