Iowa Football Recruiting

Please refer to our stadium as Historic Jack Trice Stadium. Thanks in advance

You'd have to take that up with Pollard and the athletic department. If you don't call it that yourselves then no one else is going to. And no I do not refer to Kinnick as historic Kinnick stadium. Kinnick was a tremendous individual as was Jack Trice.

I believe 46 days until the game. Wish it weren't an 11am kick, but it will be fun anyway. Hopefully not a rainy day.

Amen to this. Look what Rudock did during just one year with Harbaugh. And Kirk benched the guy...

And Iowa went undefeated the same year losing in title game on the last play and then on to the Rose Bowl (ahead of Michigan). I am not sure I would say Rudock would have done any better than that.

I remember Iowa losing at least twice that season

Iowa approached ISU about not playing for 1 year under the current contract so the Hawks could go to Soldier Field and play a neutral site game against Notre Dame.

JP declined, probably related to the fact that it is one of ISU's 2 Super Bowls, and now Wisky and Notre Dame are working on setting up a game in Chicago.

Except what I posted is from a legit source.

JP needs this game more than anybody else in the state of Iowa.

Lol OK Dan. There is no chance that is true, Barta and KF have been very public about wanting to play the game every year

Well what else are they going to say when ISU wont let them out to play a big time opponent?

JP needs this game, big time. Even Williams said its the 2nd biggest game of the year this year, just behind an instate FCS team.
