Iowa Football Recruiting

Campbell has not recruited better than stale, outdated Iowa his first 2 classes and I would be shocked if ISU has a better class than Iowa in 2018.

Why would the Iowa staff be obsessed about a staff that cant even crack the Top 50 nationally in recruiting?

Ask Brian why he's obsessed with #ThoseGuysInAmes, maybe you can ask Kirk why he's obsessed with the ISU game as well as he's in his office probably currently putting together an ISU collage to hang up in the football facilities

Brian Ferentz is the one that started throwing punches.

You didnt answer my question.

What would have caused the Iowa staff to be concerned with ISU's recruiting?

Is it the classes that are outside of the Top 50?

Or was it the one instate kid that picked ISU over Iowa because of the academic offerings at each school?

Where is KF obsessed with isu? I see you keep posting this but then you haven't been able to show where KF or any Iowa coaches for that matter did anything.

Cy Twins is such a stickler for answering questions I am sure he will come around.

It was posted not long after his offer that Shannon himself said that ISU offered after Iowa did because they are Iowa "rival".

This has also been reported by several players this year that offers come in from Minnesota as soon as Iowa offers. This isn't new other programs offering because Iowa did, Beilima was notorious for this at Wisconsin.

Link? Or did this come from Dom Uhl's source too

I did answer your question. Brian Ferentz is the one that started this whole discussion.

Earlier in this thread, you said there is an obsession in IC with recruiting in Ames?

I disagree with that but what do you think has caused the obsession?

I dont see anything with the results of CMC and his staffs recruiting that would cause an obsession.

My comment stems from Brian's comments. End of story.

Its funny because he also said "the new guys in Minneapolis" in that same podcast and I have yet to see a tweet put out by the Gopher staff with #thoseguysinminneapolis in it or t shirts made with the same hashtag.

And that is a school that really considers Iowa a rival since they chant that they hate Iowa at games against opponents other than Iowa.

Also, no clever hash tags from "those guys west of Omaha" either.

Seems like the obsession is coming from the ISU side.
