Iowa Football Recruiting

Not looking forward to having to face him, he's a stud

Really happy with Iowa's OL class though (Plumb, Ince and Jenkins) with Parker still on the board that could go DL or OL.

Should be an interesting 4-5 weeks for Iowa recruiting as a lot of their top targets are set to decide (Waggoner, Brents, Levis, Johnson, Shannon, Williams, Moala and Torres).

I thought after Plumb they were full at OL so that makes sense with McKinney.

Except for Plumb of course. Selective reality King strikes again.

At one point, Wisconsin wanted Plumb. Just like with this Tyler Harris kid that ISU is likely to get a commit from soon. He once had a committable offer from KU. But, due to the number of off-season transfers (to include a guard by the name of Charlie Moore who Hawk fans should be familiar with), they no longer have room for him.

Could have been although I still think Iowa would have taken McKinney if he wanted a spot.

It seemed for a few years there, Iowa wasn't getting OTs which is why they ended up with Croston and Myers at LT which wasn't ideal at least for pass protection. But the last 2-3 years they have some good looking OT prospects again.

Agreed, Jackson and Wirfs should be great anchors on that line within the next couple of years.

Plumb wasn't a take for Wisconsin, it has been linked in this thread by a reputable source

Get 247 to say Wisky didn't offer and we are golden. You have always been a stickler for 247, don't go back on that now selective reality king.

I said he didn't have a committable offer which is true. He did have an offer at one point

I don't know why that dude is taking this so personally. It's like, who cares. Be happy with the commit.

Yeah I don't get why it's such a big deal to him. It appears Kirk really wanted him, who cares if Wisconsin didn't want him even if he was from there.

Selective reality king tells us what does and what doesn't count. It is what he does.

What is wrong with you? Wisconsin offered him at one point and then they took him off the board once they got another recruit. It happens all the time.
