Iowa Football Recruiting

What do you want a link of? Sure ISU hasn't had much football success in recent years, but since I started following ISU more heavily (when I started college there) they've had a fair amount of success.

-6 straight NCAA tourney appearances.
-3 conference tournament titles.
-I attended 3 of their bowl games (pretty decent for a historically bad football team).
-more recently they've hired an exciting young coach, had two of the best recruiting classes in recent history (and had several guys be major contributors as true freshman).
-I'll even add that they've bowled in the SEZ and built a multi-million dollar football facility.

That's a few good successes since my time began as an ISU fan.

Do you still want a link?

It was a joke.

The policy is just as I said, it is a component of what the Iowa program is all about. If prospects don't like that then they probably won't be a fit anyway.

Ok, just so I understand "The Iowa Way" here.

If a kid verbally commits to Iowa, he better not take another visit anywhere else or Iowa is going to yank their scholarship because Iowa wants you to be all in when you commit.

HOWEVER, Iowa doesn't have to keep their end of the commitment to you once you verbal. They don't have to be "all in" on their end. They can recruit over you and yank your scholarship out from underneath you.

And don't tell me Iowa doesn't do that. We've given several examples of that exact thing happening over there to verbal commitments before. I'm not saying ISU hasn't done the same thing, because they have, just like most schools do. The difference is ISU doesn't act like they're holier than thou like Iowa and their fans claim. It's truly amazing how gullible Iowa fans are about this stuff. KF is like Jesus to them and does no wrong. It's just laughable.

How the eff did Iowa pull an o-line recruit out of Wisconsin that has an offer from them?! Kid grew up a Badger fan too. WTF

The Dean of NCAA football coaches.

The Dean of NCAA football coaches.

So he's just as good at hoodwinking Iowa's AD's as he is their fans?? Is that what you're saying?

Your response to my post about "The Iowa Way", is to say he's the Dean of NCAA football coaches?? Really? So you don't dispute anything in my post in other words. So you do believe KF is a con man. Got it.
