Chizik and Rhoads played in the exact same Big12 North for 4 years. ISU added an additional conference game for the last 6 years and still have less conference wins in 10 years than Dan had in 7. Ouch. The difference is Dan had an average program. Chizik, Rhoads and CMC have had a completely ****** programs.
A lot of Rhoads wins were with the Coin's players.
Mac's wins in his last 7 years were with a roster he built.
Weird as in weird like you've posted almost 3,000 times on an Iowa State website as an Iowa fan, claim you're here for all the Iowa talk, yet at the same time have spent how many hours going back and finding Iowa State articles, previous games/scores/etc., and appear to be real up to date with all the happenings of Iowa State athletics?
Not sure what is more weird, the fact that you could watch an Iowa v. UVA basketball game from last year over and over again or the fact that you have my posting history pretty much memorized.

Yeah that huge CMC sample size. We've already established that several key contributors stopped playing (before he had even coached a game) that still had eligibility. Pretty impressive that he was able to get 3 wins out of that young and inexperienced team.
Also had a true freshman lead in rushing, had one 2nd in receiving, and another lead the team in sacks. Solid recruiting. Should be more wins in 2017.
Mac is clearly the best coach ISU has had since Earl and ISU fans do nothing but run him down. Sure he beat bad and average teams. Yet that is what average teams do and Mac built ISU into an average program. This was no small feat giving what he had to work with.
Who is running him down? It was time for a change at the end of his career
Nothing any different than what clone fans have been claiming since Johnny Rogers left for Pitt.
Iowa's schedule is tougher than isu's.

Julius Brents is visiting Iowa again on 06/24. Big time prospect (4* on Rivals) that will participate in the Rivals 5 star challenge this weekend in Indy.

So a ISU coach wins 9, 7, 7 and has a down year and you fire him. You aren't very bright.
As a RS Fr, yes. He had a great RS Fr season, but also had less competition for carries. Warren no doubt had a sophomore slump.
What CMC did with him? Challenged him practice harder and put more into it? I don't see the issue. It also became clear that ISU will have a nice 1-2 punch in the backfield this year.
I also see you chose the Warren argument for a Fr leading in rushing but left out the other two.
