Iowa Football Recruiting

He was on the All ACC Defensive Team (this past year)? I can't wait to see what source you pull that from, to prove me wrong. This is going to be good! Again...you're an idiot or troll (or both). Your choice.

So because he wasn't all ACC defensive team he wasn't elite defender even though @YeahBuddy, who hates ISU, even admitted he was. Derp

What?!!! You just said that everything I said was wrong. Now you're admitting that I was right that Shayok wasn't on the All ACC defensive team?! You have no idea what you're talking about, do you? Just admit it and save some face ....you're an idiot or troll. It's not that hard.

You're really bad at this

I was referring to you making up that he was "losing minutes" and "being forced out."

What kind of coach pushes out their second leading scorer from a 23 win team?

This is a blurb from Kris Wright (UVA's equivalent of Chris Williams) - who writes for a couple UVA publications. Just going out on a limb, but I am guessing he knows a little more about the Shayok situation than either you or CyTwins.

Shayok’s minutes never settled into a regular place due to a combination of injuries and inconsistency on both ends of the floor but certainly on defense. Over the course of the past two seasons, Shayok slid into the starting lineup for brief stretches only to see his minutes virtually disappear weeks later. He eventually worked his way back for postseason play both years, but with more wing talent joining the fray next season, a clear picture for playing time did not appear likely.

Hah!!!! You look worse every time your try to argue your points with me. Whether it's calling Shayok elite or saying that Akrum Wadley sucks....you have no idea what you're talking about and are either an idiot or a troll. I would accept either answer (or both).... it's just that simple.

And Frosty just drops the mic on @CyTwins with the link. @CyTwins you got a link, or just your imaginary friend who hasn't been right since Fred was coach?

Yeah...not seeing anyone that is committed to Virginia that will be better immediately next year.

Seems like you went through a lot to find just a mere article about an ISU commit.

A defensive liability at UVA is probably a defensive stopper at ISU. Or multiple other teams. 2nd leading scorer on that team is a good get no matter what you think. He has a year to learn the system. I have no doubt he'll be a solid contributor.

Don't worry.....he still won't give up. He's stubborn that way. I am guessing he is currently trying to photo shop Shayok's photo onto the All ACC Defensive Team to somehow prove me wrong. I wouldn't expect anything else.

Looks like it's the number two goal currently on Campbell's list and we already know it's number one on Pollard's list. Thus, I would hardly call it 'another game' in cloneland. But keep doing what you're doing....your logic is entertaining to read.

You believe what you want to believe. But if all it took were beating iowa, McCarney would still be coaching at ISU.

Hah!!! That's all you have? You first say that everything I posted was incorrect. Then you back track and say you did not mean the part about the All ACC Defensive Team absence. Now you can't even come to grips with an article published by someone the equivalent to Chris Williams at UVA. I wouldn't expect anything else......

Hah!!! I've heard it all now.

What did I say that was wrong? Any guy with half a pulse on D would be ISU's best defender. If Shayock saw enough minutes to be 2nd leading scorer at UVA, he's probably a better defender than most guys who have played at ISU in the last 5 years. And with their slow down pace at UVA, I would expect Shayock will up his scoring some at ISU. I expect him to be a double digit scorer and a solid defender on the wing. Not all conference by any means. He's a solid get as a transfer.

Hah! Nice change of topic. I guess McCarney shouldn't have lost his last three of four against Iowa.

It's called replying to an alert. McCarney shouldn't have lost two Big 12 North title opportunities and been 4 plays from 0-12 his last year. His overall record against iowa was fine, his record against anyone decent was not and it got him fired.
