Iowa Football Recruiting

They were put up by the Iowa football program and they only do it for the ISU game. Are you trolling here or what is so hard to understand about this?

A Janitor with Iowa's football program team puts up a poster is bad but when isu's AD puts up a billboard it is awesome. Cy Twins sleeps with his miny version.

Be sure to tell Naz and Monte Iowa isn't isu's Super Bowl. We know Iowa is Cy Twins' existence just by how he spends all his time posting about big bro.

Link that Iowa has never had a single poster up in the entire complex ever outside of the 1 time you know about for an ISU game?

Derp. The media eats this stuff up. If they put up other teams posters on the door of the football facilities where they conduct interviews it would be well documented. I don't understand why some of you are so sensitive about this. Iowa's football program treats the ISU game as their Super Bowl. Why do we need to keep talking about it like it's not a known fact. That'd be like me arguing with you that our basketball roster hasn't been loaded under Prohm

This is true. Without a doubt Iowa is ISU Super Bowl in basketball according to @CyTwins himself

Fred loaded the roster, Prohm has unloaded it in two years. From Morris, Thomas, Naz, Niang, Burton, Nadar, McKay to Babb, Beverly, Brase, Jacobson. Ouch, In only 2 years now both you and Chris Williams don't think ISU can make the NIT.

If you ever need to unload a roster, hire yourself a Prohm.

Oh, and I'm not sensitive about the football stuff. I just want you to keep trying hard on the Super Bowl stuff, as it make you look rediculois as you bend and stretch and put such meaning into 1 poster over 18 years. Funny stuff.

Beating Iowa is one of CMC top goal, it is his Super Bowl. To win a bowl game and beat “it’s rival”. This is more important than competing in and winning the Big12.

For a competitive guy like Campbell, the goals are high. If lofty goals aren’t established, then the ability to attain them already is lost.
“I think the expectation from here on out is your goals as a program are to play in and win a bowl game, to beat your rivals and No. 3 is to compete and win a Big 12 championship,” Campbell said.

Pollard proved Iowa is isu's Super Bowl when he put up a billboard with isu's Super Bowl trophy on it. Just no reason to even discuss it, it is a proven fact.

Funny stuff, you conveniently left off a 5 star recruit, a 4 star recruit and a 4 star redshirt freshman...but keep cherry picking your players to fit your narrative.

I'm in the minority but I'm excited with the basketball team...so glad we have a (also 4 star) senior guard, who was playing well to end the year, to help us as well.

Anywho, back to the pissin contest.

Pollard doesn't play or coach football
Pollard sets the vision, goals and tone for the entire ISU athletic department. I know the Iowa game is of primary importance to him, which in turn makes it of primary importance to Campbell....that's called goal alignment 101 in any hierarchical organization. Again, just ask Paul Rhoads.....who was able to extend his stay (by two to three years), in Ames, due to beating Iowa two or three times. He certainly wasn't allowed to coach for 7 years based on this overall success......by averaging a little more than 4 wins a year. In a nutshell, the CyHawk game super bowl mentality (by the Clones) is ALL Jamie Pollard, and he expects his coaches to fall in line.....it's pretty simple to see and understand that.

That's just stupid. Rhoads earned the extra years by going to bowls 3 of his first 4 seasons. And beating #2 OSU. He struggled his last few years and got fired. You guys sure have a high opinion of your program to think that someone else's coach is extended or fired based solely on how they do against the hawkeyes. Newsflash: You're not that important. Bottom line is it is just another game that they need to win to get to a bowl. If Campbell doesn't go to a bowl game in the next four years, he'll get fired too...regardless of whether he beats iowa or not. Going 4-8 and beating iowa is a bad season, period. It's excusable in Year 1 or 2, but after that, you better start beating teams and going to bowls or the seat will get hot.

Remember when Pelini got fired at Nebraska because he barely beat Iowa in Kinnick? Lol that goes to show how the world views little bro

You don't get to use that line of trash talking when at 6:12 Saturday morning you are throwing up your 642nd post in a month attempting to troll a college message board.

I couldn't care less about uniforms but you can troll better than that. Show these idiots how it's done

Bah, sure you do. Lanning roaming behind the DL in that Smedium black/gold number? C'mon.

And I got nothing on these new hok posters, they're the new generation.

Call me crazy but I've heard some really positive things about Lanning so far.
