Foster was begging for an Iowa offer and Iowa offered Banwart and Williams instead. That is why I am saying Downing will be good, on the same level as a Banwart or Williams.

That is right Newell said Iowa didn't offer change the score to 3 out of 17.
Recruiting is nice but what matters is when they get to campus and how they are developed. Iowa is so good at this that we have a wall containing all the national award winners.

Downing didnt verbal anywhere until 05/18/2017, Jenkins committed months ago.

Not necessarily. There are a lot of outside factors that play into recruiting obviously.
Reminds of the people that trashed KO because he was raised by women and that he was soft. But, it was on a message board, so it must be true.
Just because Iowa's 247 website blows doesn't mean ISU's does. Alex has done an amazing job. Need proof? Look at what Scout was with him there and now without him there.
