You have a link for Newell? 24/7 is the only one I've seen showing an offer. Rivals, Scout, ESPN.. nobody else I could find has an Iowa offer for him. The kid himself didn't even say Iowa offered when he was interviewed.
He said he also received offers from Eastern Michigan, Colorado State, Miami (Ohio), Illinois State, Harvard, and Yale.

Also the kids Iowa landed on the OL in 2017 are much higher rated than Newell.
