Is he injured? I have been reading the practice reports and haven't seen his name yet, he also wasn't in the wide receiver picture on media day. Does anybody know his status?

Cannot practice with team due to NCAA regulations regarding a certain rule. Not sure what rule it is but i know its until you have an appearance in court.

maybe he didnt get paid to play for a german football team, and now he has to sit out for not doing anything wrong.

What you forgot to mention is that a couple of his teammates got $200 per month for a few months. That's a pro team, my friend. Sorry Clone fans.

I recall hearing that he got into some sort of a physical altercation several months back. Don't know too many more details.

That was 5 months ago, surely they've come to some resolution in that amount of time. If he got into more trouble, I'm assuming we would have heard about it by now, unless someone took a couple of hush-hush classes at EIU this summer. Why no questions about him from the media?

I know that the ISU Athletic Department has some policy about being charged in a 'Violent Crime'. I think he is probably suspended untill it is resolved.

Coach Chiz is making him sit out until he pays all of his fine and deals with all the court issues.

In May, the police arrested Wallace in the parking garage at 119 Stanton Ave. at 2:15 a.m. for unlawfully and intentionally obstructing an officer from performing a lawful duty, according to the police report. A trial date is set for Aug. 28th.

Iowa State athletic media relations director Tom Kroeschell said coach Gene Chizik would not be available for to comment on the situation or on Franklin's status with the team Tuesday. Franklin was not seen practicing with the team Saturday, which was the only fall practice open to the media.
