****Official Class of 2017 Recruiting Thread****

Juiston is #1 on my wish list. I get every name on that list except UNLV and Rutgers. Two awful programs.

Most likely #1 on Coach Prohms's list too. For those in the know, who would be our top three targets in day one of the re-build?

The NJCAA tournament starts this week in Hutchinson, Kansas. Juiston and Edwards team will both be there playing. I imagine the staff will be camped out in Kansas for all those games. Juiston's game is on Wednesday.

Looks like we moved on from Lake too?

He was at Arizona State last weekend and cut his list to ASU, K-State, and Rutgers. With Donovan on the roster, I really thought we'd take Lake.

Do we have too many forwards on roster who are less likely to see minutes? Making recruits think twice?

Yetna does not impress me with his other offers. He has like Oregon state and old dominion. Not exactly the guys I get excited recruiting againsy

did we move from him or the other way around. for the life of me I don't know why a player would consider ASU and Rutgers over ISU for basketball.

Yenta is heading to visit OSU. Guess we'll see if the staff is still prioritizing him if we hear a visit lined up by the end next week.

@Coreyevans_10 Following his visit to Old Dominion this weekend, 2017 @PSAhoops forward Alexis Yetna is on an official visit to Oregon State, per source

I will not be upset if he goes elsewhere.

Wouldn't be surprised if staff coordinates some visits around the football spring game (April 8th)

If I recall correctly, we've had multiple transfers visit and commit on that weekend in the past.

Last night I watched a the tape of an Iowa Western game from earlier this season. Lake looked his height and he looked like he was athletic for a big, but he also looked like he had no feel for the game and not much of a motor. I would rather find an effort guy.

If Lake is that type of player (Length, Blocks and Rebounding) sounds redundant with Kasongo/Carter who are already on the roster. I can see if the staff see's Lake as that type of player they would want to distribute the scholarships to a player with different skill sets.

Did you watch the IWCC-IHCC game? Maybe it was just a bad game, but he looked like an Edozie type impact. Which is already covered by Kasongo

IHCC had a freshman with GREAT effort.

Aurrecoechea, a freshman from Spain, has had a huge impact on IHCC’s success the second half of the season, amassing nine double-doubles in the past 11 games, a span in which he has averaged 15.4 points and 16.0 rebounds a game. He has boosted his season averages to 9.8 points and 9.5 boards and has totaled 13 games with double figures in points and rebounds while making 57 percent of his field goal attempts.
