Didn't Mad Fran ban his team on twitter one year? Maybe should do that with his kids for a while.
Good for the Big12, they need some deep runs in the NCAA to change the narrative that then Big12 flops in the NCAA. Every year is a new year. I think either Kansas or ISU makes the Elite 8, WVU has a pretty easy path to the Sweet 16, and Baylor will eithe flame out early or make the Elite 8 it seems.
On paper like every year it looks like the Big12 should make multiple deep runs in the NCAA, we will see if this is the year they actually do it.
Lazard was at home for bowl season, again, and decides to rip a conference that had 3 teams in BCS level bowls.
If that doesnt scream butthurt, I am not sure what does.

For the record, I don't think Connor's tweets are as bad as Rick Brown spouting out on the topic. Poor kid finds out he wins the award, hops on Twitter and sees some hack sportswriter piping off about how he didn't deserve it. All class.

Another posted stated Connor tweeted back at Patrick thanking him for having his back but I didnt see that.
Yah. He's a high school kid, so I get it. They are emotional beings. And let's be honest, the old man doesn't set a great example regarding emotion control. He apologized publicly, and I'm sure he's reached out to the kid that won.
But for a grown man like Brown to get that petty....grow up.
Now if Fran could develop talent, you would have something. The level they are, is the level they will be at graduations.

I think all you guys care waaaaay too much about what a 16 year old kid said on twitter. Who gives a ****, people say dumb **** on there allllll the time, especially people a lot older and supposedly more mature than him.
Gotta say sitting around trolling about what a high school kid tweeted is a lot more pathetic than a high school kid tweeting or saying something stupid.
I don't care, I feel bad for the kid that won it and I think it's a real bad look for Fran's sons. If they throw their AAU teammate under the bus like that it does make you question their character though
I'll tell you what-- if I ever become this invested in who wins a high school basketball award just go ahead and commit me to the psych ward.
Well if it is the actual best player in the state Wieskamp would win it.
