The brackets are out! The brackets are out!!

That's a really, really, really good draw for Weatherspoon. Doesn't make him a favorite to AA or anything but he's got a path to AA that requires no big upsets or anything crazy.

Beat Galli, Lose to Jordan, Beat #11 Meyer (which he's done this year), beat either #9 Amine (who beat him in OT this season) or #8 Ramos (who beat him 4-7 this season). Drawing in to the quarter that gets the 8/9 guy in the R12 is the absolute best he could have hoped for.

Hall has a path too if he wrestles well but would also have to turn around some losses

Beat D'Acry, lose to #4 Cory Clark, beat Rico Montoya (who he beat in Vegas and in the dual but lost to at Big XIIs), beat #12 Josh Alber (who beat him 8-6 in OT in the UNI dual), beat #7 Eric Montoya (who beat him 5-3 at Harold Nichols).

Good Earl Hall AAs. Bad Earl Hall goes 1-2.

He drew in to the quarter that gives him #7 in the R12. Which is as good a draw as he could have asked for.

Hall has been to the quarterfinals all 3 years he's been to nationals and usually shines in the tournament a little bit. I'd think if there were ever a time for him to shine it's next weekend with a not 100% Corey Clark who he's had close matches with before

BoJo is banged up too and hasn't wrestled a lot this year. I expect Spoon to be right there in that match.

I really like Earl and Lelund's path to AA.

Usually after the bracket's come out I am b*tching about the seeding at several weights. Can't find much to complain about this year across the board.

One of the more interesting team races in recent years.

I have it:

1.PSU
2. Okie St
3. tOSU
4. VT
5. Iowa - they have some bruutal draws

I haven't filled out a bracket yet. Has anybody looked to see what these draws look like for the team race?

If placement went exactly to seed and with advancement points, it would look like:

1. PSU
2. Okie
3 tOSU
4. Iowa
5. VT
big gap
6. Missouri

Fairly small margin for PSU and thats with Suriano's points. If he is as injured as it sounds, they may not be getting much from him.

I lost the spreadsheet I've used the past few years to do team points based on how I see the bracket going and since we aren't in it I'm not sure if I'm devoted enough to remake it

It is a lot more fun when we're in the thick of things. Hopefully in 2-3 years.

I would rather have Clark than Tomasello, Dance or Gross.
Dance is 125 where I'm hoping to see him dominate Gilman in the final. Part of me wants Gilman to get upset well before that but having him get that close only to get beat down on the biggest stage would make me very happy.

I'm fine with a Moisey-ing no matter when it happens.

That is right. Who is 3 seed at 133
