Hold up.

2016: Pemsl #232, Bohannon #299, Kriener #304 2015: Moss #241, Wagner #272.

2017: Lewis #120, Lard #146, McNeill #232 2016: Long #126

No difference maker? You're going off of national rankings, so none of those Iowa guys are difference makers?

No, none of those guys are difference makers as Fr.

Long term development is much different than being an impact Fr. Marble wasn't an impact Fr and he developed, Uthoff RS as a Fr and developed, Pete wasnt good as a Fr and he developed.

I don't judge a players long term impact ability by his recruiting ranking, but typically speaking guys outside the top 100 don't came in and make big impacts as Fr. There are always exceptions to the rule though.

The good news is we don't need them to come in and be more than role players outside of Wigginton, who looks to be as ready as any to play in college after how he's been dominating elite prep programs.

Jackson, Babb, Wiggi, Young, JUCO will be our starting lineup. We won't be relying on FR outside of a top 50 guy, even in this crazy 6-7 scholarship rebuilding year. We'll have two guys ranked 120 and 126 on the team too, just outside the top 100 and a lot more likely to have the ability to contribute more than Bohannon, Ellingson or Moss.

So clarifying, you don't think Bohannon or Pemsl have made a big impact this season?

Thank God Fred missed on Moss. Yikes

Kind of sort of. I mean Jordan did so much more than I ever expected. Pemsl was great too. Yet we had Pete so we didn't need a #1 guy, it is just different that what ISU will need. They need a #1 guy.

He does fine as a true freshman. I can't predict the future, but I hope he continues to get better.

Lol, he shoots 36% and I see he only had 5 Bohannon's yesterday and that's just talking about his offense which is much better than his defense

So you don't think any of those guys (who are rated 100+ spots ahead of the Iowa guys, and have far better offers) will make a big impact?

Not bias at all are we?

What JUCO will be starting?

I specifically said there are exceptions. I specifically said typically players outside the top 100 are not impact Fr.
