Everybody yakking about Garza, I like the other guy, the 6' 9" (no doubt going on 10, 11, or 12) 180 pound PF.

Those guys don't grow on trees.

Thad Matta, not even close.

Thats just weird because according to composite recruiting service of all the other recruiting services, they both have exactly the same .9823 rating.

You know more than recruiting professionals now?

If you think that the kid that plays for Oak Hill that's considered by many to be the best scoring guard in the 2017 class is essentially a wash with Wieskamp, then I don't know what to tell you. Wigginton has earned his rating. By that, I mean Wigginton has climbed the ratings across the board because of his phenomenal play at the nation's elite basketball prep school. He didn't start high and stay there.

They'd be lucky if he has a career like Matt, but yeah, the comparison seems legit. Joe is going to likely take 2 years or so to adjust to the college game whereas Wigginton will be an immediate impact starter from day one.
Wieskamp will be impact day 1, will probably start day 1.

I think they are both going to be big time players for their respective schools. They are both damn good talents.

I don't claim to know or even care whos better for that matter, or what level of competition each plays at. I simply stated that according to people who actually get paid for a living to evaluate talent, they are pretty much equal.

This is a fruitless exercise. You are arguing with a guy that said a couple of days ago that Donovan Jackson is better than Peter Jok.

Donovan Jackson would be by far the second best guard on your team behind Jok. You have to agree with that

I'm not taking anything away from Wieskamp. All I'm saying is that he needs to go out an prove that he's worthy of his ranking. Maybe he does that on the AAU circuit this summer. I don't know. What I am saying is that comparing him to Wigginton at this stage is premature. Come back in 11-12 months and try to make the argument that they're the "same".

Beilein. Matta is trending in the wrong direction

Yeah, I was going to say Beilein as my 3rd choice. Ohio State is having a rough year but I dont think theyll be down forever.

Now lets talk about worst coach, it has to be Crean hands down. Ive never seen a coach acheive such average results with talent like that.
