Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

I disagree with the overall point that Twins is trying to make about the refs not ruining the game, but he most certainly did do the worst possible thing he could have in that situation.

What was he supposed to do? He received a pass in a terrible spot. Had no where to go and called a timeout. Outside of the crappy ref, I would blame Baer for throwing him a pass to put him in that situation.

You're a moron on this point. How could the announcers hear the timeout being called clear as day when they were further away than the ref? Doesn't even mention the fact that the Minnesota guy was way out of bounds too. A terrible call anyway you slice it. Plus, about the fasted jump ball call ever.

There was a mic right there. If the refs would have heard him they would have called a time out

Didn't cost them the game at all. Take off your black and gold glasses Jeremy
This request would have been more appropriate when Woody was still playing.

Iowa would have just turned it over or missed free throws if they got the time out call. It's like you guys don't watch Fran February basketball

Honest question, is the foot on the line there a reviewable play in the last 2 minutes of the game?

Call a time out when he doesn't get fouled right away and realizes he is in a terrible spot, not go to an even worse spot and rely on your PG on the other side of the floor to run in and call a time out.

Yeah Baer really screwed up too

I don't think so because it wasn't a part of the call. IIRR, if he were to have tied it up and the ref were to have called him out of bounds, Minnesota could challenge if he was on the line or not, but not if there is no indication of the line coming into play. I believe.

He didn't rely on his PG, he was calling one too.

Why do you even give a **** dude?
I thought we were talking about Iowa basketball and you guys were crying about the refs. He's giving you the opportunity to prove your point. But I guess there are no examples and it turns out your team is just bad at basketball. Sucks to be you.
