Wait a second...this was the guy who verballed to Iowa a few weeks ago? And he already bailed? I'm glad we "missed" on this guy. Say what you will about what is going on in IC but that is pretty shady.

I wouldn't be too quick to say there's anything shady going on. Just look at the situation in Iowa City -- thugs for teammates, fans turning on the team, an AD who's a goner, a coach who may soon follow -- going to be a pretty tough fall for Iowa to find and keep any recruits.

This is awesome. First Zooker steals a RB from them, then their kicker Signor heads for greener pastures and now their "last week" commit sobers up and gets a dose of reality long enough to get the hell out of Iowa City. I love watching this.

I don't know that Zooker "stole" their running back. Iowa has done everything possible to drive good recruits elsewhere without any outside help. And recruiting is the lifeblood of any college football program. If Iowa (Offensive Line University) and Ferentz (Offensive Line Genius) can't keep a 4-star guy like this in-state, then who are they going to recruit? Kirk and his staff are pretty much toast. The only question is how bad will it get before they make a change.
Well Signor, as mentioned already was the backup, and maybe Barrent is saving Iowa some more embarassment. Reading earlier in this thread, he is already labeled as this years Blake Larson. Funny how so many of you change your opinion when he is no longer commited to the Darkside.
