If I was a Hawkeye fan I would be growing very tired of Fran's tantrums on the sideline, they are embarrassing especially when they don't come with wins. The guy has been shown on multiple occasions to peak on January and completely fall off the map by February. He doesn't recruit especially well and doesn't seem to game manage very well either. The kids tend to play tight when the going gets tough and its obvious that this is a direct reflection on their coach.

Before you Hawk trolls bring up Larry Eustachy I will tell you this, I wasn't particularly happy after he got tossed in 2000 against MSU, regardless of how justified it was. He took it too far. Obviously he was a tough coach to play far see current CSU investigation. Fran is on another level with berating officials, players, media, etc.

I agree with the first part, but he has a long ways to go to catch Eustachy.

Oh boy, Dochterman is giving Chad a run for his money

Connor McCaffery, who is left-handed, leads the Trojans in scoring (19.6 points per game) and rebounding (4.6). He’s among the team leaders in assists and steals. He has twice as many 3-pointers (48) as any of his teammates. He was named a McDonald’s All-American earlier in January.

Wow, that's just a lie. It's as accurate as calling Jill Stein the president.

Yah missed a fairly important word in there, Scotty.

Surprisingly he was the only nominee from Iowa this year. But there are 5pages from the country.

Yeah, and as it has been stated before, you literally only have to fill out the paperwork to get nominated. It could be anybody.

You know what they say, if it's on the internet, it must be true. Congrats to Iowa for picking up their first McDonald's AA in a long time.

Why would a fan of a team not have hope for their team? I would hope, that you have hope for your favorite teams. That is what being a fan is.
You can have hope, but it's pointless. If I were an Iowa fan, I would just focus on something else until someone realizes you have a terrible basketball coach. Of course, they are a little slow over there so I wouldn't expect anything anytime soon. At least I hope they don't realize it anytime soon ;-)

Thanks for the advice, man. I'll take it into consideration.

Nobody said it was for basketball. Maybe he's a McDonald's All-American for baseball or french fry eating or something.
