I'm not going to talk football with you in a basketball thread. Nobody said Texas was good, Jok was a high level recruit when he was young but ended up choosing Iowa over Drake and while the Big Ten is so bad at basketball this year the SEC is probably worse
I grew up getting berated by my Iowa fans being as I was the only Iowa State fan at my high school. So yeah, I have a strong hatred for Iowa and their fans, but I don't post every day about it on here.
The same SEC conference that tied the almighty Big 12 conference in the challenge this year?

I made a typo, I wasn't dumb enough to think saying I care about something means I don't care about it and then double down on it
My high school leaned more towards ISU since I live in central Iowa so I cant really relate, only to say that there are going to be extreme groups in every fanbase.
I dont get the hatred myself, never understood how people can go against other teams in their own state like that.
Here, I'll make it clearer for you. I don't care, at all, if that is counted as a tourney appearance or not. The NCAA can take it away from Iowa today, and I would not care, at all. I hope they do, to be honest, so you can shut the **** up about it.

I think it is funny as hell when people hate one another based solely on their allegiance to a college's athletic program. I don't hate the cyclones. Some of their fans are dicks, but some of Iowa's fans are as well. People who get their panties in a wad over all of this need to probably sit down for some quality introspection.
Yeah, but it is tough when you have a graduating class of 1,400+, and you are literally the only person (to go or cheer) for Iowa State
