Is Dumb Mule a senior this year? He's the one player they always claim will be a stud the following season and just seems to get worse each year. And what about Christian Williams being the point guard of the future? That didn't last long.

WOOOOOOF WOOOOOOF. OMG that is hilarious if hoks hadn't have won the super bowl this year against us they would be pizzing their pants in full freak out mode. That is a hilarious lineup and it's even funnier that I hear a lot of "but they have amazing chemistry and they like each other that will make them winners" WAKE THE FREAK UP this is 2017 not 1959 Hickory Hoosiers.
Come on, now. That lineup has a great personality.

So the HN crowd is something like this?

You were very much in the minority, then.

What makes you think Fran 1) has the ability to bring in a quality transfer PG, and 2) would even attempt to, with his kid coming in?

I don't really know anyone who thought this year was gonna be a NCAA year.

I have no faith for Fran to bring in a transfer PG, just going is all. I don't think his son would be a better PG than Jordan, he should be playing on the wing.

check the link I posted. On Jon Miller's site, before the season, there was a poll of over 400 people. 74 percent of the respondents said they thought Iowa would make the NCAA tourney, this year.

You and everyone you know must have been in that 26%, I guess.

I think Bohannon proved he could play at this level, proved many on this board wrong btw...but it's also true that if he plays heavy minutes at point for 4 years there will be some lost potential there because he is limited as a true pg compared to the unknown talent that may be out there. I'm guessing that's what you meant by him sliding to the 2 anyway.

Not sure I agree with your assessment that the current core coming back gets them to NCAA status. Won't be surprised if they are a bubble team but a .500 squad losing its top scorer and rebounder is rarely going to be projected as a tourney team. It could happen, but I wouldn't expect it. I don't expect ISU to make the NCAA next year even with Wiggington being the highest rated recruit since Fizer.

Yeah Jordan can play. Over 9 PPG and over 4 APG from a guy who has athletic limitations is petty good.

Losing an All conference performer and being better isn't a stretch. They did it when Gatens left, they did fine when they lost Marble, and then White. The rest of the team is all a year older, and better. Moss is gonna be good, Cook will be a beast and Pemsl is crafty around the rim.

How do you think ISU will do next year losing 4 key contributors if you think losing one guy is a killer? Just curious is all. Players are typically replaceable, but as Iowa found out, when you lose 4 of them it is tough.

When did Millers site get to 400 posters?

Having a Top 25 recruiting class, a sit out Freshman, and a sit out transfer, and plenty of room to do what we do helps calm the nerves.

I spend my time on HawkeyeReport, bruh.

Six of one, half a dozen of another. Regardless of if you favor the morons of Hawkeye Nation or the morons of Hawkeye Report, a poll of Hawk fans on a Hawk website is still a fair representation if you're asking a question about the opinions of Hawk fans.

...unless you've got some evidence to the contrary, that goes beyond the anecdotal "I didn't expect to make the tourney, and no one I know did either."
