yeah 3 games against the bottom of the barrel teams. Congratulations to Iowa, they might have a shot of finishing 10 out of 14 in a garbage conference and being on the NIT bubble again next year. I'm sure they are all MAD again.
There are and would be plenty of people outside of this forum that would classify Iowa's backcourt next year as being average. Iowa State's backcourt should be and probably will be better than Iowa's next year. I mean, average isn't good? It is below good, I don't know why you are on such a big schtick about someone saying they'll be average.
Iowa returns their point guard who is doing fine as a true freshman. Moss hopefully takes another step forward and becomes a more consistent player next year. Ellingson is a shooter and that is fine for his role. McCaffery will add size and he can shoot well, but don't know about him until everyone sees him play a college game.

Wiggi will probably be a 5* guy by some services for the final rankings. There was an article by one of the services (Rivals I think?) saying he would be the one 4* that would be the hardest not to make a 5. 5* guys are pretty sure things. Couple that with DJ and NWB who have proven themselves adequately this season and that is why.
I actually hope they get to a 3 seed for the reasons I gave. I don't really care how deep Iowa State goes in any tourney, I don't care if they win or lose, doesn't affect my life. I do like conversation about the two programs though, both basketball and football, it's fun and a good way to waste some time.
I feel like 9.2 ppg, 4.5 apg, and a 2:1 turnover ratio is fine for a true freshman pg, yes.
In his defense, I would probably state it this way, "Iowa returns their point guard who is doing fine at shooting free throws in a small sample size as a true freshman."
If we're being honest, I would almost rather stay at the 4 spot. Oklahoma State scares the bajesus out of me and I think they are going to finish in the 6 spot
Well he is averaging more ppg and apg than Monte did his freshman year playing the same amount of minutes, also better stats than Matt Thomas. Now, am I saying he will be as good as either of those two when it is all said and done, hell no, not many are. But, I think he is doing fine as a true freshman pg.
He can't guard anyone and he plays in the worst Power 5 conference in the country. If you think he is fine I want some of whatever you are smoking.
I'm totally being honest. I want Iowa State to play the Thursday night game. only chance that happens is to be either 3 or 6, 3 is a lot more likely than 6 imo. So, I want them to be a 3. I don't want them to play Thursday morning, cause that means I have to go down there Wednesday night. Three straight days/nights of drinking is more doable than four for me now lol.
I don't smoke, never have. I do drink though. I'll take whatever you are drinking that makes you think Iowa State will win 38-13....
