For sure, there is more basketball talk about Iowa in this thread then that entire lame Hawkeyenation site.
I bet there are more Hawk fans posting on CF than ISU fans posting on all Hawkeye boards combined
I'm sure Iowa emphasizes conference games just as much as Iowa State does. For that matter, I'm sure every team in College emphasizes conference games as much as Iowa State does. I doubt Iowa State is a pioneer in that field.

Not at all. We're finally agreeing that Iowa does a better job of preparing for a rivalry game. I can't even compliment your staff and players without you arguing about it. SMH
This is actually one of the best sites for an athletic team on the entire internet. Sometimes I lurk on other peoples boards to see what they are saying. Alot of them have horrible traffic which leads to a couple new posts per day, some of them the fans are complete morons, and some of them look like they were programmed by an entry level Java developer whose last computer classes were in 2001.
Common theme is alot of them suck for various reasons. This site is awesome.

They're not MY staff and players, they are Fran and Kirk's staff and players. And how would you know how Iowa emphasizes conference games or non-conference games. Are you at all the practices, meetings, locker rooms before all these games?
No wonder than, I go to Hawkeyenation wanting to read some Iowa basketball material sometimes. There is rarely a new post, the gameday threads are pathetic, and all they do is keep refreshing the Bohannon Crow thread over and over.
They made an "In-State Rivals" board for a reason. I didn't create it, but someone did for some reason. I'm assuming for threads like this one and the recruiting one. Don't like it, talk to the guy who created it.
It's well documented how much they prepare for the ISU game over all the others. They hang up posters, they print off ISU players tweets and post them in the locker room, they move trophy cases, play the ISU fight song all week, etc. I don't know how you just can't take a compliment when I'm saying I'm jealous of how Fran and Kirk and their players prepare. Geez dude

But it is a backhanded compliment, not an actual compliment. Plus, it's a rivalry game man, every rivalry in College probably has **** like that going on, on both sides. I'm sure Iowa State does or has done the same things.
