I agree, right now I would rather focus on how bad Iowa basketball is going to be for years to come than talk about the hok sinking ship of a football program. Then go to the Iowa Football thread

I'm just following up on discussion in this thread from today, that I didn't start. Then go pick any Iowa Football thread
Other than BC, who played Maryland.....every other team listed there is about on par or better than the teams listed for the Big 12.
Why is it a "sinking ship"?I agree, right now I would rather focus on how bad Iowa basketball is going to be for years to come than talk about the hok sinking ship of a football program.
lol, um no. But both conferences are much better than the BIG.The SEC and Big 12 Conferences are equal in strength this year in Basketball. Actually, the SEC might be a little better since one of their better teams didn't even participate.

That is fine, I expressed this to another poster as well before you joined today, nothing personal. Just pointing out that this is a basketball thread.I'm just following up on discussion in this thread from today, that I didn't start.
Can't recruit, desperate offensive coaching hires that won't work, and the game is quickly passing by the head coach. They are going to be really bad next year. But we can talk about it in the Iowa football thread. This is for your hopeless basketball team. Why is it a "sinking ship"?
By 3 at home, so like I said just about on par or better.Well for starters Boise State beat Wazzu.
They got some favorable match ups, and honestly we have had 2 or 3 head scratching games this year. Vandy is one that just didn't make sense. You will see in March when the SEC has maybe 1 sweet 16 team and the Big 12 has 4.Well they split the challenge this year so it must make it true.

5-5 in SEC/Big 12 Challenge without one of the best SEC teams even participating.
What teams would that be?
Do you mean South Carolina, the team ranked behind ISU in KenPom?
I don't know, that is a good question.Who do you think will be better at basketball next year?
Yep, the same ISU team that lost to Vanderbilt.
