I could use the help of the Kansas City Cyclone community in the help in finding someone who can install a new furnace and AC unit. Any recommendations on contractors who can install a new unit at a good value?

When I moved here I didn't have any contacts so I went with one of the bigger providers. We have used Polestar since moving here. They are good, but definitely not the cheapest.
What part of the city are you in? I can ask around and should be able to get you a decent recommendation.

I live in the Waldo area. I have also found a list on KC P&L of approved vendors who qualify for the rebates and stuff. So I will call some of them, but would appreciate experiences from other people in the KC area.
Here are two that I got:
Capes Whole Home Heating and Air Conditioning out of Gardner - this is my co-worker's brother-in-law's company. Good reviews all around on service and price.
My friend that lives in Waldo uses Johnson Heating and Cooling and says he likes them a lot.
Like I mentioned before, I use Polestar. I have been ok with them and have just stuck with them out of familiarity more than anything. I have gotten really good techs most of the time, but I got a real knucklehead one time too. I only saw him once, so I can only assume he's gone, but he keeps me from recommending them to others.
