It's not like football where you just have to get to 5-6 wins and you're in no matter what.
At least Purdue gave Iowa a better game.
Heard Jok's post game interview. He credits his trainer from Minneapolis for his game plan. Is this normal? What does Fran do?
Purdue has a couple NBA players in the paint. Tough matchup for Iowa but nice win for a young Hawk squad.
It's a good thing Iowa is playing good at home. Will come in handy when playing in the NIT.

They probably need to win 8 of their next 13 and a Big Ten tourney game at minimum to make the NCAA tourney
Have to admit, one of the worst parts of losing to Iowa is the struggle to decide whether you want them to win enough to make your loss look better or just lose em all. It always ends up on the latter side, but this shouldn't be a question I have to deal with.
I agree. I think Iowa is a favorite next year to possibly win the NIT.
Iowa has good role players for their freshman but they better find someone that can score the ball if they want to be any good. I don't see a White, Uthoff, or Jok on next years team.
Easy. Want them to lose. It's always going to be a ****** loss.
The fawning tomorrow will be awful. I guarantee that Keith Murphy will say they have a good chance of making the tournament now.
Cook will be one of the better players in the country by the time he's done. He's athletic like McKay but with better offensive skills. Bohannon is pretty unflappable but probably has a ceiling but likely wont make dumb mistakes late in the game like Gesell. He's already a better shooter. Pemsl is only going to get better and it feels like Moss will likely end up being the slasher/scorer. Baer is Baer and they got a couple guys coming in with a lot of length and scoring ability. They'll be a pretty tough out moving forward.
