Weiskamp still ranked worse than our PG of the future, and Wiggington didn't even grow up an ISU fan.
Again, pretty good for a freshman that many people on here expected to be awful.

Isnt it kind of pointless to compare the rankings of 2 different classes?
You would have a point if Wieskamp was ranked in the 40's in the 2017 class.

Also, my dad went to high school in the 50's and had 17 people in his graduating class. I'm pretty sure his court was longer than the one Garza's playing on.
In keeping with the OP of the thread, if Iowa wants to be a prove a 6th (or even a 7-12th) seed they'll tonight's Purdue in IC is close to a must win.
Of course the same could have been said for Rutgers on Sunday and they pulled that out.
I would contend that looking at the 2018 class rankings are pretty pointless period. Fran might not even be coaching Iowa by that time.
This is exactly how I felt when I realized Woodbury had used up his eligibility.
