Kirk Ferentz, the 10th highest paid coach in college football now has 1 top 25 finish in the last 7 years and he just promoted his son to OC. Barta is the best
I just love how another OC fell on the grenade for KF. I'm not sure whats funnier. Iowa fans actually thinking that things are going to change our Iowa fans screaming for a vertical passing game when they literally don't have a single receiver that can create separation. Keep being you though Iowa!
More like 1 Top 10 finish in the last 2 years. Pretty sweet.
That is the biggest problem with the offense, the WRs but Davis was a also a huge part of the problem. Very poor passing scheme. Also, Vandeberg is pretty good at getting open and has great hands, but he is a slot receiver. They have no wideouts that have shown they are any good.

The bolded part, I agree with. Why would we want to change the identity of the program? Pro style, balanced attack is what Iowa will continue to strive for.
I would be worried as an ISU fan, BF is on record regarding how badly he wants to pummel ISU.
I would expect a flashback to the Hayden era with BF calling the plays. 42-3 games may start becoming the norm again.
Meh KF has made it his Super Bowl recently too, doesn't matter who the OC is as long as KF is there. There's really no hire he could have made that would intensify how much he emphasizes the game
I'd be more concerned as an Iowa fan with the fact that he's that focused on beating a non-con opponent.
Yeah and Monte Monte Morris was on the recording stating how bad he wanted to pummel Iowa and we all know how that worked out.
Focus will be the same for every game, I am more talking about not letting off the gas if Iowa has a large lead. With BF at the helm of the offense, last year may have been 56-3 instead of 42-3.
Worried about what? The talent gap between Iowa and Iowa State has become extremely narrow. I understand that is a REALLY tough concept for Iowa fans to grasp but you could at least try.
Come on, KOK was getting pushed out the door by Iowa fans. Don't even try to defend that!
