ISU vs. TT: 'I knew it was over when ...'

If I wasn't a Cyclone fan 28-3 would have done it. Seemed pretty clear when it was 45-3, but I was still worried about TT putting up 4 TDs in 15 minutes

The game was probably over at the pick six, like some have said. When did I feel *comfortable*??? Halfway through the fourth quarter.

Need to teach my husband that is possible. He's in there for at least two hours and the rest of us wind up sitting by the vending machines.

A quick Menard's run is 2 hours.

Missed a little of the third quarter but no scoring. Menard's is only 2 miles or so from my house. Was specific in my needs (1) a single pole pull switch, pre-identified on the web site (2) a 3/8" or 13/64" drill bit. Made my Home Depot run at 2:00 (also re-id'd items and location by aisle and bin #) and only missed first possession. Got to hit these places hard and fast! :D

Tech settled for a field goal in the first quarter, once ISU was up 21-3 and looking at the Tech sidelines, I knew there was no way Tech was coming back. They were disinterested pretty early

First ISU touchdown of 2nd half. No one on that Red Raider defense wanted to tackle Lanning. He was abusing them. Lanning clearly wants to hit you if you don't get out of his way.

I was honestly still 55-45 at that point. We had shown the same against Baylor and Okie State but it still took a 180. At the end of the first half it just occurred to me how perfect things went for us and we really maximized the point differential other than their FG when we could have stopped them on the 3rd and 20. With how perfect things went for us, Tech would have needed the same for them to come back.
The most we were up against either of those was 17, and both of them are far better than Tech.

The start of the third qtr when tech scored a touchdown to make it 45-10 and we came right back with a touchdown on a long drive to make it 52-10......I knew right then the game was over because ....in my heart of hearts I knew we were going to score a whole lot more points and that with Patrick Mahomes left shoulder hurting it was gonna be a longer day for the tech offense and esp their defense.....

My cousin lives in Lubbock TX and works for Texas Tech and Im sure he did not enjoy the game....but I sure did....Thanks Matt Campbell .....his coaches and esp the players

Go Cyclones beat the mountain men
