ISU vs. TT: 'I knew it was over when ...'

When it was 28-3. At that point already knew Techs defense was garbage and wasn't going to slow us down enough to come back.

After we scored the first TD of the 2nd half. I was a little worried after two three and outs but I knew we were back in business when we scored in the 3rd

This was it for me. We had just give up a TD, and we took the TD back. Ball game. No way was TT scoring 6 TDs in 22 minutes.

I was honestly still 55-45 at that point. We had shown the same against Baylor and Okie State but it still took a 180. At the end of the first half it just occurred to me how perfect things went for us and we really maximized the point differential other than their FG when we could have stopped them on the 3rd and 20. With how perfect things went for us, Tech would have needed the same for them to come back.

When TT actually seemed to be trying to run the play clock down more than we were in the fourth quarter.

And even though it might have been warmer had we moved lower down, none of us moved because we didn't want to jinx anything.

I was thinking this too. But we didn't have that big of a lead against Baylor or Oklahoma State. The first half reminded me of the first half against Baylor on offense. But the defense was obviously a lot better in the first half.

When I could feel comfortable that Tech couldn't score on 6 consecutive 2 minute long drives.

Really the middle of the 3rd after ISU had scored and TT didn't seem to respond. There was something about ISU not panicking after they hadn't moved the ball much to start the 2nd half.

DEFINITELY knew when TT started running just to get clock to 0:00.
