Those two were pretty good I'll admit but 3-11 might as well play for Savannah St.You missed a lot. Jok is a scoring machine and Cook is downright scary in the post. Left handed monster dunk surely an ESPN best of.

Love it. Heard the same before the miracle escape in Ames last year. Thankfully the ginger mafia is gone. Late free throws will be our friend.
Only time I switched off football for this, either Jok bricking a 3 or Cook clunking a free throw.
Must have tossed up a bunch to score this much.
Iowa just lost to Seton Hall who would be lucky to make the NIT.
Lol Iowa played out of their mind last year and still couldn't win. And that team was much better than this Iowa team.
Iowa just lost to Seton Hall who would be lucky to make the NIT. At home. This will be the 2014 game all over again.
He probably promised them minutes.Fran played 11 guys tonight. He's the best
Agree. Hilton will be sold out Sunday for CitidalWhat a pathetic ******* crowd for two teams that will be on the bubble (and that's no disrespect, I think it's the truth).
The camera shots that showed the empty seats behind the hoops were embarrassing.
What, no free pizza and ice cream tonight?
Iowa fans should be ashamed. Pathetic.
This is the fan base that couldn't sell out their last home football game in an undefeated season. What a pathetic ******* crowd for two teams that will be on the bubble (and that's no disrespect, I think it's the truth).

Monte Morris looked completely lost in his first game against real competition. Way too early on judgement for j-bo but man he had a really bad stretch there.
from HN, so there is still hope:

I am cool with the game coming down to Cook making clutch free throws. He was dazzling from the line.Love it. Heard the same before the miracle escape in Ames last year. Thankfully the ginger mafia is gone. Late free throws will be our friend.
If he could shoot FT like he celebrates, he'd be unstoppable.I am cool with the game coming down to Cook making clutch free throws. He was dazzling from the line.

I posted that, and it's completely true. I was impressed with them yesterday especially cook. Our guys can't defend low major bigs without fouling, cook is definitely going to give us trouble.
Did you really compare Monte Morris, a top 100 recruit, to Jordan Bohannon who would probably be playing at Wartburg if Iowa didn't miss on all their PG targets? Lol
I compared a freshman who struggled mightily in his first game to another freshman who struggled mightily in his first game. Obviously he isn't going to be as good as Morris. Geez some of you guys are sensitive.
People compare players all the time. People compare our recruits and freshman to very good players all the time. It doesn't mean people are exactly equating their talent and skill level exactly and to assume they are is a logical fallacy.
