Michigan @ Iowa

I'm not melting down at all. Congrats on winning a home game, at least we won in the road yesterday

There it is cy fan thinking winning at KU is the same as beating Michigan at home.

Keep melting down, this is huge fun. The real storm is in Iowa City.

Didn't watch the whole game...glad I didn't. But I did see most of the second half and what you are touting as great defense was BAD offense. Iowa completed I think 2 or 3 passes in the second half? And all were to the running back?
I saw Michigan leave at least 17 points on the field from terrible quarterback play. Honestly that was as bad of quarterbacking by both teams that I have seen in a long time. Michigan looked like they could careless and I'm glad Iowa beat them...they deserved to lose.
But let's not kid ourselves here....Iowa is not as good as Michigan and it's not very close. For as bad as Michigan's offense played they were one catch from winning the game (a catch that should have been made in my opinion) Iowa was handed that game and they took advantage of it.

Who the hell is melting down? Both teams played like crap! Iowa caught the most breaks...took advantage of a iffy call and won the game.
From what I saw...that Michigan team didn't deserve to win the game and definitely didn't deserve to be a top 4 team.

Jelly? Awesome? Add a tubular and i'll think i'm in the hills. Totally brodiculous dude! Change your user name to Re-pete, for obvious reasons.

I sure don't see any threads on Iowa sites or nationally talking about isu's EPIC win at KU. Plenty of places are talking about the Hawks though and that in and of itself drives cy fans crazy.

I guess that is why this thread hasn't over 200 posts in it. Cy twins will tell us how it really is.

You mean the iffy call that gave Michigan a first down and it led to them being ahead 13-11?

Oh and wether or not Michigan deserve to be top 4 or not they were. Just like OSU was when isu beat them.

I am sure you will tell how that was so much different.

Pretty sure I saw that Iowa's win was called the biggest upset of the year.

Nobody's talking about ISU's win because two one-fers playing, but a win for ISU was needed and it's a nice thing that it happened.

I get slammed on here every time I say this but KF is a great, if not legendary coach. He's the worst coach I've ever seen on 4th down decisions but outside of that he has done truly amazing things (albeit often not in the most exciting way). This should have had them destined for 6-6 or even 5-7 after some early disappointing losses but now they're still on track for 7-5 or 8-4.

That Michigan team has steamrolled the entire rest of its schedule, incredible effort from Iowa, especially the defense and special teams.

This is typical KF to win this game last night and get Hawk Nation all excited and calling him God again.

And just as typical would be for him to take his team to Champaign next week and lose to Illinois and everyone calling for his head.

I've noticed that sports rivalries are going the way of politics. Instead of respectful disagreement, people just scream at each other and call them stupid. Makes me sad.

Were you not apart of a good high school rivalry growing up? People were always yelling at each other and sometimes got kicked out of the game. With social media I've seen countless dudes get punched/knocked out after games. I'm guessing that didn't just start when we had the technology to share it.
