Probably (which is why I said "second Big 10 team), but if you thought us Big 12 fans were pissed off when OSU jumped both Baylor and TCU after Wisconsin laid down for OSU two years ago, imagine the apeshittery that will come from the Pac 12 if their 1-loss conference champion gets left out because they decide to include a 1-loss "non-champion" (and money) instead.

Just for the record the rule is ANY opening on the helmet is penalized. Not just face mask. I know you guys aren't used to watching a game with actual defense. I'm thinking ranked in top ten this week

Last night was not good defense. You can't tell me that Iowa is all of the sudden good on defense. Michigan screwed up on offense and overplayed on their own defense.

The best part of this game was beating Michigan and Ohio state in the same night. Osu is now virtually out of the big ten title game.

Actually, a face mask is great defense - assuming you don't get caught doing it (which is something that would almost never fall in ISU's favor).

It was crazy listening to some of the WHO pre game guys. Don't know who they are, they came on right before dolphin. Whoever they were they basically made it seem like it was the 2003 clones vs the 85 bears.
MIchigan is good but overrated. No good road wins. They will end the season with one more road win than ISU, against Rutgers and MSU. Other than pounding Pedo State I don't see any wins that suggest they are some juggernaut.
Still a really good win that should help salvage an otherwise disappointing season for the hawks.
