I see the next step in the plan is threefold:

1] Keep recruiting-filling holes / gain experience

2] Stay the course on philosophy

3] Win one we shouldn't so the players have a "Freud" moment

Don't know when, but as 1 and 2 get better 3 gets closer.

We need to win 2 of our last 3.

Do that and I'll be optimistic for next year.

Lots of moral victories... however, the flip side is that the Big 12 is way down this year. If this team played the first couple of weeks we would have a shot at a bowl.....

Close game than usual, but Oklahoma defense not nearly as good as they usually are.

If the coaching staff can keep this current recruiting class together I will be thoroughly impressed. This is my biggest concern. As we saw with Paul, not getting good recruits makes things that much more difficult.

I hope you are right. Damn I'm sick of losing. It's gotten to the point where I would accept falling out of the P5 in 8 years just to have any sort of success. Losing is a disease and it's taking over portions of this fan base.

Recruiting is the key to everything. Just lost too many good players to injuries and the coaching change. There is absolutely no depth in either line, and the OL has been bailing wire and duct tape since the first snap of the season. Just got to get more guys that can play, especially in the trenches.
