I agree - although with chicken I go with a touch of Italian salad dressing and mesquite.

There is a little wiggle room for chicken and pork, but quality beef should not be insulted by seasoning with anything besides the essentials listed previously.

Good fish on a plank usually gets some salt, pepper, butter, lemon and sometimes a little smoked paprika at our house..

Famous Dave's has a great steak & burger seasoning. I also believe Heinze 57 is a superior sauce.

HyVee actually makes a decent flavor enhancer.

For the smoking enthusiasts: lately I've been heavily spritzing my ribs & salmon with apple juice. Turns into a great glaze.

Can someone recommend a good vegetable seasoning for steamed zucchini? I used to use Chef Howell's all purpose, but I think they went out of business.

This but am out and cannot find in stores here any more. Might have to Amazon some. Or @GTO could show me some love and mail me some!

Sirloin steaks - McCormick Mesquite marinade
Better steaks and burgers - Montreal steak seasoning
Chicken - Sweet baby Ray's Chipotle sauce
Pork - Italian dressing

I've also began putting a light oil on steaks before grilling. Huge difference.

First ones I thought of were Lawry's & Montreal Steak. Maybe I should trust your tastes on the Cavender's & give it a try.
