That article reminds me why college recruiting is depressing. dont blame Fred at all for hating it. I couldn't do it.

How do you Hawk fans feel about this article?

Its called a hawkeye arrogance. I hope he decommits from Iowa. Or maybe Kirk is going to fire some coaches including the one that recruited him,so they decided not continue talking to him?"It was weird, to be honest. I have the head coaches at Arkansas and Ole Miss calling me weekly, and we can't even get my position coach at Iowa to get on the phone with me. A lot of the Iowa fans are mad at me for taking these visits, but they don't understand what is going on behind the scenes. I mean, I told coach Woods about the situation and week after week went by without ever hearing from them. How am I supposed to take that? Coach Woods said they couldn't read my mind but they still never got in contact with me. I don't know. You want to go where you feel wanted."
WOW. I initially thought this was more of a Quran Hafiz situation, but nope, not even close.

But of course the fluke 12-0 that "Big Brother" got last season has their heads grow as if they are all Bill Belichick. If that is what is really happening, then there is no excuse. You have to continue to recruit your commitments all the way through signing day. That is part of being in college athletics.

Here is the issue. The kid isn't happy with his recruiter contacting him he also wants another coach contacting him. Then the fact that unless you are contacting them all the time you aren't "showing them enough love". Give me a break. Get over yourself kids. You have coaches (Harbaugh) sleeping over at kids houses. doing all kinds of crazy ass crap for HS kids. HS kids!!?! it's just insane. Who knows what is actually true though and what is just perceived by him. Either way. I couldn't do it. I would suck as a recruiter.
Kind of a bummer, seems like a good kid and hope he chooses what is best for him. Still excited a program like Iowa is able to be in the mix for some of these blue chippers. Not to worried about the implications of the article, Parker needs to be spending as much time as possible figuring out how to bolster the rush defense and recruiting can work itself out later.
Surprised you never linked this the other day, since you seem to have your finger on the pulse of Iowa recruiting. No idea if he stays committed, but figured you would want keep everyone informed on any developments.
Exactly, which is why I'm surprised you never linked that tweet. Information on 17 year old Iowa recruits and twitter feeds seems to be a pretty big deal to you, just figured you must have missed this one.Wow. Parker needs to focus on the defense and ignore setting up an official visit for the best DB recruit he's ever gotten. Lol
I never predicted Eno to leave, I said he was probably 50/50 and I'm guessing that's still the case.

I have no idea what Parker is doing or how official visit setups are scheduled. I know Woods is his direct recruiter, and would think they would be able to set it up through him. After what I watched at Kinnick last week, I'm perfectly fine with Parker concentrating on his rush defense at the moment. Still plenty of B1G games left on the schedule, need to pick up a few of them.I clearly only share bad news for you guys.
Back to the topic on hand here. You're really defending Phil Parker with Calloway? Cmon man
