Testifying
This seems very similar to when Tom Brady took over for Drew Bledsoe.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Romo in a different uni next year (if the Cowboys were smart).

It's a rough decision. Romo is better right now so part of me says go for broke and take one more shot at a super bowl, but at the end of the day it has to be Prescott if he keeps improving. It's like the colts dumping Manning, make it appear as amicable as possible but make the smart business decision.

I will bet you $1 that Romo gets the start when he is healthy-ish.

Time to give Romo a full-time clipboard job.

Love the guy, loved watching him play over all these years, but, yeah, it's time for Dallas to move on to an obvious heir apparent who is only getting better.

Gotta move on from Romo and invest that money/draft picks back into that O-line. Dallas can really save Jason Garrett's job and build towards a successful future if they can keep Dak and Elliot healthy (and under their rookie contracts) for the next 3 seasons.

As a Dallas fan I am so torn on this. I love everything Dak as done and by him taking care of the football, Dallas is a better team and makes up for the things Romo does well. But at the same time I love to watch Romo play. That said, I hope Romo just says he is never healthy this year and retires at the end of the season. I doubt that happens, but he is so brittle.

If Romo won't retire, I don't know if Jerry will have the stones to take away his job yet? Jerry loves Tony Romo and all that he brings to the Cowboys, mainly money. But Dak is playing well enough that winning might give Jerry the balls.

Holy crap I am so wishy washy on this. Sorry for the rambling.

Before the regular season started I was jokingly saying "in Dak we trust" so I am going to stick with that.

In Dak we trust!

As an old Dallas fan, I'm actually watching the 'Boys again. I just lost interest the last few years, every time I thought they might make it, they choke. If Romo could play the whole game like he runs the 4-minute and 2-minute drill he would've won a couple super bowls.

Oh, and I ******* really dislike Jerry Jones!

Tony Romo unseated himself. Only so many years in a row you can get hurt before the franchise gives up on ya. Unfortunately, because as much as I hate the Cowboys, I have always felt bad for Romo.

At some point Romo has to start thinking about his future. These back injuries are no joke. He might want to be able to walk when he's 50.
