Iowa Football Recruiting

No, he's 17, kids that age who have grown adults hounding them constantly who say something then have a change of heart/mind I don't think should be tagged as low character. It's pretty ridiculous actually. Especially when you don't think a kid who actually gives his commitment and then decides not to follow through on it isn't a character issue. A little transparent buddy.

Are you related to him or something? If you are tell him honesty if the best policy

I'm not. Do you have kids? I have a teenage daughter who's changed her mind about sports she's going to go out for and then deciding she wants to try something else. I wouldn't call that low character.

You're taking this thing too seriously bud

I don't need to sign up for HR to use Google. Nice try though, I assume every time you spew out a lie you're going to just say it's premium info when I ask for a link?

Iowa is 1-0 with LeShun Daniels Jr. as a team captain. The running back got more votes this week on a secret ballot from the team’s 16-player Leadership Group than Jim Thorpe Award-winning Desmond King, so he joined Beathard, Matt VandeBerg and Josey Jewell at midfield for the coin toss.

“The team felt like I was fit enough for the role,” Daniels said. “Obviously I was excited about it.”

But is it anything to worry about with King? Not so, he said Saturday, even though Iowa hasn’t changed captains mid-season since 2012, when Micah Hyde was arrested for public intoxication. Hyde regained his captaincy a month later.

“We felt like LeShun had been doing what he had to do the past couple weeks,” said King, who is in the Leadership Group. “He ended up getting the votes this week.”

Bump

You should just admit you're wrong. You were right on the other thing. Batting .500, pretty good for you.

Sure, the kid that said he was going to Iowa for sure and was shutting down his recruitment will be a high character kid at the school he attends even though it won't be Iowa.

So just ignored what he said today?

OCD can be managed if you just take your meds.

Wow that's a long time ago. So King was the first captain demoted since Hyde when he got arrested? No wonder why my source said it was a pretty big issue

Yet again just like with Kirksey,Vandervelde and Edds it was meaningless that King wasn't a game captain from r all the games.

Dose Up.

Just playing Devils advocate here and I really don't get why this is still an argument, but didn't Lazard commit, say he wasn't going to take any visits and then visited ND?

None of those guys got worked over by an FCS team either though. Just King.

From what I heard King should just be happy he is still on the team

Repeating the same OCD comment over and over and over and over sure sounds a lot like... like... let me think... Oh, yeah! OCD!

Actually that is how you deal with someone who has OCD, you have to keep repeating.

Cy Twins is awesome.
