Hearing it's similar to our McKay situation but I don't think it's bad enough to miss any games or anything yet
The original rumor I had heard was it had to do with CJ's girlfriend but I don't think that one is true. Sounds like an attitude problem

Anyone heard good excuses as to why Iowa lost? A guy that works in my building (he cleans it...) is a huge Hawk fan, this morning he talked about how they were just looking ahead to b1g play next week. Who can blame them with that brutal road trip to Rutgers looming...

Does anyone listen to the Tavernhok Comedy Hour on 1700 th Champ on Tuesday nights? Holy ISU jabs Batman...even during the basketball segment they had the director of the Emerald Coast tourney on and he mentioned ISU won it last year and Iowans are made to feel at home in the panhandle and the host guy says "well something different than last year is you might need to bring in some extra TVs because we've actually got a football team to watch in November"...and you just LOST to an FCS team...I don't imagine Nebby fan is really worried about that matchup in November at this point.
He didn't-got promoted to Super Duper Captain. He walks out before the captains by himself
From what I heard he'd rather walk out by himself than with his teammates and that's the problem. McKay seemed to kind of figure it out after he got in trouble, hopefully for your sake this is just what he needs
I actually admire King for coming back another year, however, it was a really stupid move on his part financially. He won the Thorpe Award for crying out loud. If he does anything less than that this year, he'll fall in the draft. And that's if he even stays healthy, which he was at the end of the year last year.
As for him being demoted from captain, I can see it. I was at the Iowa-ISU game and boy does this guy have an attitude. I know most college football players do, but this guy takes it to a new level.
During warm ups Iowa's punt returners were catching punts and running them back and eventually handing the ball back to the assistant coach who would then give the ball to the long snapper. All the Iowa punt returners were doing this, but King would drop the ball about 10 yds from the assistant coach and make him walk out to get it. Then he would dance like an idiot back to the other end of the field to receive another punt while the other guys would just sprint back there.
I didn't even know he doesn't come out on the field with the rest of the team, is that really true?
If so, who would vote for him as captain?
