Having just renewed cyclones.tv and not using it all summer I've run into an issue. I can't play any video. I hit the play button and I just get a square around the play button with nothing happening. I've deleted all ad blockers, tried different browsers on different systems and still get nothing. I've messed with pretty much every security setting too and get nowhere. I reached out to them and they said it's an ad blocker issue but I've gotten rid of Ad Blocker on everything with no success. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't have Cyclones.tv at the moment but have had the same issue with what is supposedly free content. The launch of the their new website has slowed all of their content down for me even without an ad blocker.

I'm pretty sure I had the same issue I hit play and than the screen just froze until I clicked in the video window again. Click anywhere in the video window Don't know why it worked but, it did

Has anybody used the roku app? Every 5 to 10 minutes the feed will just stop and force me to watch a stop commercial before restarting every time. It's very annoying and will likely cause me to watch on a computer. The same thing happens on Amazon video but I've never had a problem with netflix.

  1. Roku Problem: Every time you try to log into cyclones.tv for subscription content like live games and live interviews, you have to put in a new roku code like you're setting the account up all over again.
  2. Commercials for paid content Really? Every single time? The same commercial? For unpaid content, fine. You can do better. Think sling, not ESPN or Texas imo.
  3. "Ad blocker is on" error: Told them my ad blocker is off and their app is white-listed. Wouldn't open a ticket, instead told me to try Chrome. This was popping up on every single link I clicked. But no ticket necessary. At least someone there finally did issue a ticket and now they've "fixed" it so it only pops up every time I connect to Cyclones.com. Bravo.
  4. Unhelpful support: I had to shame the same tech support into deleting a duplicate user account in THEIR DATABASE that they wanted me to "fix on my own through the browser". Oh, and this was because I was actually trying unsuccessfully to financially support this boondoggle with a subscription. Oh, happy days! I suggested they might want to find out how duplicate user accounts are even allowed in the first place to stone deaf drone. I don't know why. Maybe because I work in IT?

Hmm. So, if I only purchase the 24-hour pass, will I be able to get the game on the Roku app? The last thing I want to do is spend $7 and not be able to stream it through the Roku.

Yeah I contacted them and told me it had to do with an at blocker either at the station or connection level and that's just not possible on my work station or my home laptop. Once they said that when I had specifically said I knew that wasn't the case I gave up.

At least with Nuelion I could eventually watch something.

this. any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!

So, should I pay $7 for a chance to watch the game due to the technical difficulties, or just find a feed online....?

That is the $7 question. At first it wasn't working for me on either my laptop or desktop in Chrome or old Explorer. Then I had the Ad Blocker message and killed ABP. It finally worked to stream the volleyball the other night so I think it will work Saturday but confidence level is only medium. Invited a couple freinds over but have known them for years so if it doesn't stream we will just go have so eats and drinks elsewhere and f' the game.

Final vent, a small biz like CF can change platforms pretty seamlessly while we get a major university athletic site that cannot and all they do is point to the user as the problem. The users are your customers and your alumni you arrogant pricks.

Make sure you have most current Roku software. Delete app. Upgrade software. Hard boot it and re-install app.

I had this problem on my Ubuntu computer with FireFox. I got it working, but I can't exactly tell how you I got it working. I disabled the ad blocker for cyclones.tv, and deleted/refreshed some add-ons in FireFox,and it started working.

I still can't get it working in Chromium on Ubuntu. I get the "no compatible source was found for this video" message, but I can't figure out what I need to add.
