Iowa Football Recruiting

Sure it does. Aren't you trying to argue that the Big 12 has better teams than the Big 10 and that is why isu has such a tough schedule?

I am saying if the Big 12 truly has more quality teams then why don't they have more top ten finishes than Big 10 to show for it? This is the falicy of your SOS argument.

When you play better teams you're going to have more losses, you can get your two tough games out of the way in October in the b1g and then go on a tear against sub .500 teams, the polls don't care who you beat as long as you win.

Ok Twins I agree on the ISU vs Iowa schedule. I conceded that. But conference comparison is not close and only going to get worse. Unless New Mexico and UCONN have cache I was unaware of previously. My God mate, read the fan and analyst reaction. Texas and Oklahoma are only staying in the Big 12 due to the easy schedule. Jeepers Twins, look at the landscape.

So the big 12 has been better but now you just think it'll get worse. Got it

Wrong again. Twins you need a little help. The Big 10 has been better by the numbers and the chasm is only going to escalate. That was the point. My God, if it were not an easy route for Oklahoma and Texas (when they don't suck) they would be long gone. Are u not smart? Oklahoma gets pissed about the lack of a championship game and Bowlsby starts sniffing around embarrassing schools to join. Wrong thread, but if you think the Big 12 will be around in 5 years I want what you are smoking.

What numbers are you talking about? Sagarin.com had the Big 12 better last year in their conference power rankings.

I wish there was a Big12 vs Big10 challenge lol. Maybe if we add 4 more teams. I'm too lazy to do the research but bowl season usually gives a good idea about conference strength and is why the SEC has its rep. Overall record, BCS success, big12vbig10 H2H would be interesting

Yeah Big 12 is a lot better

And every other ranking had the Big 10 better. Sagarin? My gosh, that is just stupid. Is that the same computer print out from Jeff Sagarin that had Alabama ranked in front of Ole Miss last year after Ole Miss beat Alabama? The same ranking that had Ohio St in front of Mich St after Mich St won in Columbus? Ok. Come on Twins I know you are better.

Bama and OSU were both better teams than Ole Miss and MSU

What rankings had the Big Ten higher?

I know Bama and arguably OSU were better than Miss and MSU respectively. My point was the spurious nature of the Sagarin rankings that Twins relies on for his argument. I'll roll out OSU, Michigan, MSU, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Penn St. Who you got? Oklahoma and who? TCU and Okie St maybe? Then what? Texas and KSU? West Virginia and Texas Tech? Not even a fair fight guys.

What rankings had the Big Ten as a better conference last year? I already cited a credible one

And again Twins stack up with the teams I put out. A joke. You have 1 elite team. 1. Ohio St, Michigan, MSU, Wisc, Iowa, Nebbie, and Penn St. Really?
