The last time a team I worshipped was sold was the KC Royals from the Kaufman family, and that didn't turn out so well (and I haven't worshipped them in a long while).

Now, we had some lean years after the glorious 70's, and we had Mark Malone (famous for the bounce pass - but this ain't basketball!), Weegie Thompson (trust me, we had a player nicknamed Weegie, he was like a 6'7" beanpole WR), and Jerry Olsavsky (okay, he was actually not bad, and a Pitt Panther on top of it all).
But the one thing we've always had were the Rooneys, and I hope the sale of the greatest NFL franchise can be avoided. :notworthy:

I don't think he needs to have all the cash up front, I think he can organize a group of investors and head them up, or else just be a part of the group. I bet he may be interested in purchasing them.
