Dale Jr. Concussion problems

he's been pretty open about it through the years after hiding one several years back. Probably good for the sport for such a well-known driver to be fairly public about it and sit out races and not just "tough it out". I believe he sat after a bad wreck at Dega maybe 2-3 years ago.

I believe he has also said that upon his death he wants his brain to go to whomever is doing that CTE research.
 
I remember a few years ago when he was having some issues as well.
NASCAR is different where they don't get the helmet to helmet hits but those times when they hit the wall and go from 160-180 down to 0 in a moment has it's affect.
 
Tough for him and wish him well but could be interesting if he can't go next week and we see Gordon.

Was watching Jay Leno's car show the other night and he was getting a ride in the famous Hemi Under Glass drag car. Original driver from back int he day who was 80 years old. And of course the old dude rolls it multiple times. Crew runs up asking the concussion questions. Since they were shootin it for TV they had Go pro inside the car that captured the guys flipping around.

JHC!!! That car is not meant to turn, it is meant to go fast in a straight line. Wild.

The roll cage got bent some (which caused that car to be junk). No head issues from that wreck, all my head issues have come from football. I will try to post pictures of the car after the wreck tomorrow as I am actually getting ready to leave for a race in Maquoketa, IA tonight.

Their heads no doubt get bounced around a lot.

I was waiting for Jays arm to fly out the window and get crushed. The next one this guy builds need nets on the windows.
 
So I think I jinxed myself talking about my prior wreck because last night I flipped again. ugh.

Second, any video of this one? I still wonder how you weren't injured in the last one with the roof being smashed in.

Yes I am ok.

There should be a video, I will post it once the guy posts it to his youtube page.
