CF Pickup Basketball

I know if I keep playing, I'll feel better eventually. I got my wind after the first game. I'm sore but manageable today.
But you know yourself best. Don't hurt yourself and be out for months.
Fenton had a couple of bad *** plays. I had one bucket, few rebounds and assists 1 which came off a loose ball that I gathered with one hand. Had to stop guarding hip hop after awhile, he gets crazy out there. :smile:
Well I have the least amount of basketball skills of any of us out there. So I have to hustle to make up for it. And use what size I have to make things happen down low.
Someone always underestimates the old guy and then I run past them...
and miss a wide open layup.
The only "organized" basketball I've ever played besides pickup was a few years of intramurals with my fellow band geeks. We were, lets just say, not good.
This is Glenbrooke park son. It aint Rucker park, but it's street ball none the less.
Correct, that was me. North team won the last game, actually; come to think of it, I never lost a game... :spinny:
I also didn't contribute much to winning them, either, but that's a different topic.
Had plenty of those, myself... At least you got some rebounds. Statbook padding is always acceptable.
Yeah I didn't get any names but figured out most everyone.
You handled the ball well most of the night and made most of us big guys look silly.
Once everyone I'm playing with realizes I have no ball handling skills it usually goes better.
So I'm not suppose to write Farnsy in sharpie across the back of my white Hanes T when I show up?
I'll just say I'm WDSM and troll everyone while playing to get on everyone's bad side.
How could we not recognize Squints Palledorous?
Bring Wendy with to lifegaurd... I mean cheer lead.
I'm a little worried to have WDSM within 4 blocks of my house. He might creep on my wife and my female dogs.
Kinda funny, Wendy was actually a lifeguard all through college. She also still teaches private swim lessons.
You know I could use some lessons. A little brush up on my swimming skills.
Actually, my 7 year old just got some private lessons in Ankeny. Someone with a backyard pool. It really helped him.
All I'm feeling today is the dehydration. I started getting a headache on the ride home and it turned into a terrible one by the time I was trying to sleep. I can't go to sleep with a headache so I tossed and turned until I finally dozed off. I woke up multiple times in the middle of the night, but eventually slept in pretty late. I woke up with the headache. My pee looked like Sunny D this morning. I took some drugs and have been drinking a ton of water, but my headache hasn't fully gone away.
