No doubt, but Newman has a number of schools after him and I still have a small question if he will really end up sitting a year and playing. Thornton was down to USC and KU with the crystal ball leaning to the Jayhawks as of this morning.
In the end Self will get a PG for 2018 soon enough and KU will be fine. Whether that PG will be good as Thornton is the question.
Well he wasn't that good as a freshman. I think Newman is the better player by a lot but I read KU doesn't have the same interest in Newman.

Don't have an open scholarship anymore but would've been a solid guard to add. Sit 1 play 3. Basically averaged the same numbers Matt Thomas did as a freshman, albeit on a bad BC team.
