League starts up tonight! Thought this would be a good place to post thoughts and highlights.

Games at 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00.

I know for sure that Monte and Burton will be there. Bowie and Jakolby aren't playing tonight. Hoping everyone else that is in Ames does play. Specifically Solomon and Holden.

Are you going to be able to get some video? That would be awesome.
 
I'll be able to get video depending on the amount of Cyclones who are playing. If there's only a couple guys playing I probably won't go.

do you know why those 2 aren't playing?

I guess I can post this here....was going to surprise you guys.

Ill have some 360 degree content from tonight's action. Derek's been great about allowing me some floor time prior to the games tonight so I'll do the best I can.

Like the capital city league page on Facebook as that's where I'll be posting them.

(Crossing fingers I can get monte to do a quick demo)
 
Solomon, Jakolby, Bowie and Holden will miss EVERY Wednesday. If you're planning on going to see the new guys, you'll have to wait for a Friday and Sunday's.
 
Can you elaborate on "cyclone academy"? Never heard of it. Why are these guys tied to this, 95% of new students don't get here till August anyway.
 
Sounds like a good program but I'm guessing the league would have liked to know and maybe they could have done different nights. Maybe they knew already.
 
Burton had a sweet 360 one handed dunk. But that's not really news to anyone.

Stu drained a 3.

Talked to derek and he didnt know until a day or so ago either. And hes got 2 iowa state guys thatll miss Wednesdays. Bad deal.
 
And forgive me I'm not getting footage of the second game because it's absolute garbage.

Third game has Thomas, babb and carter so hopefully they show up.
 
Couldn't pay me to go on a Wednesday night it sounds like. No interest in seeing guys play who I've seen dozens of times

Yeah Monte & Burton are two guys who don't really get old watching play regardless of how much you've seen them. That second game with zero Cyclones though...
